Welcome to the newly updated unofficial Criminal Thinking Therapy home page. This website has been developed and expanded to assist professionals who are using the 'Criminal Thinking' approach to change in their work with others. Samuel Yochelson and Stanton Samenow are the originators of the Criminal Thinking approach to change. Mr. Samenow continues to publish materials and speak at national events. Visit our CT Links page to see his personal website. It is an excellent resource for workbooks, videos, and his personal calendar of speaking events. Let us know if you would like to share your stories or materials based on this exciting approach to cognitive change. We will post them here for all to see! Sincerely, Brian Loebig

1/24/2003 UPDATE: Links to common corrections-related assessment tests have been posted on the 'CT Tools" page. Criminal Thinking Therapy is an approach to the treatment of offenders which emphasizes the role of changing thinking patterns in bringing about change in an offenders life. The criminal thinking approach to change was first introduced by Stanton Samenow and Yochelson through their work in the three volumes of "The Criminal Personality."
