Microsoft Outlook Express

This page describes how to set up Outlook Express to access your POP email account. 

  1. Select Accounts... from the Tools pull-down menu.

  2. Any existing email accounts you have will be listed in this window.  Click on Add... and select Mail... to add a new email account.

  3. From here out you will be guided by the Account Wizard. Answer the Wizard questions with using this information:
    E-mail address: yourname@yourdomain.com
    Incoming Mail: mail.yourdomain.com
    Outgoing Mail: mail.yourdomain.com
    Account name your account name
    Password: your password
     
  4. When you finish creating the account, open the email accounts window [in the file menu select 'Tools'...'Accounts'...'Mail' tab...double click on the new email account name] and check the item marked "My Server requires authentication"
