From April 29 through May 1, 2026, hundreds of business professionals from across the United States and Canada gathered at the BNI US & Canada National Conference at the Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando in Florida. The three-day event brought together entrepreneurs, business owners, and networking leaders to exchange ideas, explore innovative strategies, strengthen professional relationships, and discover new opportunities for growth. What a surprise it was to learn that Brian Loebig was the winner of the prestigious BNI Traditions and Innovations Award!
The BNI Traditions and Innovations Award honors BNI members who successfully balance traditional, relationship-based business practices with forward-thinking strategies and innovation. It reflects one of BNI’s core values; the business networking organization promotes respecting tried-and-true methods while encouraging openness to new ideas and new ways of doing things.
“I wasn’t able to make it to the BNI national conference in Florida this year, but received the 2026 award for living the ‘traditions and innovations’ core value of BNI!” Brian responded on social media. “I didn’t even know I was nominated! Our Executive Director for the region, Ann Brennan, received it for me on the stage today.” BNI Central Maryland also shared its excitement about the award. All the Loebig Ink team members feel honored by Brian’s recognition and are grateful to the BNI community for its commitment to helping businesses and entrepreneurs succeed together.
This year’s conference, in keeping with the main goals and principles of BNI, centered on accelerating business growth through connections, education, and collaboration. Brian hopes to attend the 2027 BNI US & Canada National Conference next year, which is planned for May 12–14, 2027 in Phoenix, Arizona.
